Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê (/iˈg̃ɪci/ /ˈɪqɘ/ [damn] [brother]) is a temperate Town located in the Bèmîgêthaki Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê was founded by Èbre Trênm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Overview

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê was founded durring the late 17th century in early summer of the year 1568, by Èbre Trênm. The establishment of Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's construction back out of the project. Èbre Trênm pushed on reguardles, and Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê is buildings are arranged arround a single premissive baked earthen mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Unfortuantly, these minimaly adiquite are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

The town shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Civic Infrastructure

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's parks.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.

Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê lost 102 people, 299 livestock, and 97 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 211, when members of Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's militia enacted an operation to scout a specific location for information about the enemy. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a crushing defeat for Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ig̈îci-îqê Fêqê's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
